Executive Team
Stephanie Ferris
Chief Executive Officer and President
Stephanie Ferris currently serves as FIS’ chief executive officer and president, as well as a member of the Board of Directors. Stephanie formerly served as chief operating officer and chief administrative officer of FIS.
She is an experienced global business executive with expertise leading payments and technology platform businesses, as well as driving digital transformation, front-line customer engagement and inclusive growth. Stephanie is also a multiple award-winning finance leader who has led through a range of roles with experience in transforming underperforming businesses into high-growth portfolios. She was the chief financial officer of the payments processing division of Fifth Third Bancorp, which was later spun out to become Vantiv and then Worldpay, and she also held multiple other progressive financial leadership roles at Fifth Third. Stephanie began her career in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers. She is also a certified public accountant and graduate of Miami University.
She has been named as an honoree in American Banker’s Most Influential Women in Fintech 2024 and is also a 2019 YWCA Career Women of Achievement honoree, a 2018 PaymentsSource Most Influential Women in Payments winner and a 2016 Stevie Awards for Women in Business silver honoree (Female Executive of the Year – Business Services – More Than 2,500 Employees – Services Industries).
Kelly Beatty
Chief Performance Officer and Head of Global Solutions
Kelly Beatty serves as chief performance officer and head of global solutions at FIS, where she leads the implementation of the company’s strategy, driving accountability for growth, cost and operational efficiencies to achieve enterprise performance success. In her previous role, Kelly served as head of FIS’ Payment Solutions business, overseeing the company’s strategy for credit, debit, prepaid, business-to-business (B2B) and cross-border payments. During her tenure at FIS, Kelly also served as chief transformation officer and was responsible for building out new transformational capabilities for the company, including leading the efforts to integrate FIS’ 2019 acquisition of Worldpay, the largest fintech transaction in history (valued at $43 billion).
Kelly has over 20 years of experience in the financial services sector. Prior to FIS, she served as senior vice president and general manager of merchant solutions for financial institutions at Worldpay, where she had direct responsibility for sales, business development, channel management and relationship management for banks offering merchant services through Worldpay and its predecessor, Vantiv (previously Fifth Third Processing Solutions). Kelly has also led large-scale conversions, merger/acquisition integrations, and strategic program and product implementations.
Kelly currently serves on the PayTech Women (formerly Wnet – Women’s Network in Electronic Transactions) board of directors and was named president-elect for 2022, becoming president of the board in 2023. She is a founding member of the Women to Self-Sufficiency initiative of the Women’s Fund of The Greater Cincinnati Foundation and also established Cincinnati’s first Blessings in a Backpack program, which provides food to underprivileged children.
In recognition of her achievements in the financial services industry and for her contributions in the community, Kelly was named to the 2021 PaymentsSource Most Influential Women in Payments list and was honored with an Excellence in Fintech Award at the 2019 Markets Media Choice Women in Finance Awards.
Kelly earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management, with a concentration in finance, from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Firdaus Bhathena
Chief Technology Officer
Firdaus Bhathena serves as FIS’ chief technology officer. In this role, Firdaus is responsible for driving the company’s technology and infrastructure initiatives across the enterprise, ensuring that FIS’ technology strategy is focused on achieving its business goals. He is also responsible for leading the company’s digital transformation efforts with a focus on innovation, governance, risk-based security and standardization to advance FIS’ global solutions portfolio while also leveraging technology investments to drive profitability.
To this role he brings a client-centric, data-driven and metrics-based approach with a focus on delivering greater client value and driving satisfaction and long-term loyalty among FIS’ worldwide client base.
Prior to joining FIS in April 2023, Firdaus spent more than 25 years driving innovation and very large-scale digital, business and cultural transformations across technology startups as well as Fortune 50 and Fortune 5 corporations. Three of his most recent roles included serving as general manager at Noom, the fastest-growing pre-IPO consumer digital health company; enterprise chief digital officer at CVS Health; and chief digital officer at Aetna. At CVS Health, Firdaus led the newly combined Aetna and CVS Health Enterprise Digital organization with responsibility for digital transformation and digital health product development and innovation. Firdaus also currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Tufts Medicine, where he is the chair of the Digital Transformation Committee.
Firdaus holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering and computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and has been granted eight patents for software and distributed systems.
Tarun Bhatnagar
President, Platform and Enterprise Products
Tarun Bhatnagar serves as president of Platform and Enterprise Products for FIS, responsible for further building out our enterprise product strategy including embedded finance, fintech platform hub and Web3. By creating an open, next-generation fintech platform, FIS expands its solution offerings that can be embedded in any application that supports our clients’ financial services processes – from payments to banking to wealth to capital markets.
A passionate leader and technologist, Tarun has established a strong track record of building and leading successful businesses. Prior to joining FIS in late 2022, Tarun served as an investor who helped establish and run business functions at Arta Finance, an early-stage startup in Silicon Valley.
For over 11 years, Tarun served in leadership roles at Google, most recently as Vice President of Payments, responsible for the U.S. Google Pay business. He started and managed Google's Maps Enterprise business, built and led Google Cloud's automotive and manufacturing product team and was instrumental in defining Google's Android Automotive strategy.
Prior to Google, Tarun led Nokia's location and content products in Asia Pacific and held roles in various companies leading teams across sales, marketing, channel, product, engineering and operations.
Tarun holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and received an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
David Dunn
Chief Risk Officer
David Dunn is the chief risk officer (CRO) at FIS, where he is responsible for the strategy and execution of all global risk functions, including information security, risk testing, controls and enterprise programs, and global business resilience.
David has over 30 years of experience in technology, audit and financial services. He most recently served at Truist as executive vice president, senior governance and controls officer and head of enterprise technology risk. His experience also includes PNC Financial Services Group, where he served as executive vice president, assistant general auditor; Bank of America, where he served as senior vice president, senior audit director of global technology and operation; and The Royal Bank of Scotland, where he served as senior vice president, head of operational risk management for Citizens Financial Group.
David has earned MBA degrees from the Johnson School of Management, Cornell University and Smith School of Business at Queen’s University. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Excelsior College. In addition, he is a certified public accountant (CPA) and certified internal auditor (CIA). He serves as an adjunct professor at the Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University. David currently serves on the board of directors of Sheltered Harbor, LLC and previously served on the audit committee of The Clearing House. He also serves on the board of the directors of the American Heart Association in Jacksonville, Fla.
John Durrant
President, Banking Solutions
John Durrant leads FIS’ Banking Solutions business, where he is responsible for delivering innovative technology solutions and services to the global banking industry. These solutions and services are centered across the full client experience, allowing clients to borrow, save, pay and invest, while helping wealth and retirement providers to acquire, manage and grow assets around the world.
Before joining FIS in 2022, John spent his career working in the banking industry at four of the ten largest FI’s in the U.S. He served as the head of Enterprise Payments, Product Experience, and Small Business Bank for Capital One for over a decade.
Innovation and client experience have been central themes throughout his entire career. He has led integrated customer strategy, financial and digital products, marketing and operations teams for consumer and small business banking, and helped create a one-of-a-kind banking model to leverage the best of both traditional retail banking and direct banking models.
John has previously held board positions at the Management Committee of Early Warning Services (EWS), The Clearing House’s Payco, and the Boards of the Consumer Bankers Association where he served as Chair Elect. He also serves as Chair Elect on the board at Junior Achievement of Greater Washington.
John holds a bachelor’s from Stetson University and an executive MBA from Duke University, and is also a graduate of Stanford University’s D-School of Design Thinking.
Jim Johnson
President, Strategic Partnerships
Jim Johnson is the president of Strategic Partnerships at FIS. In his role, Jim is responsible for securing new strategic partnerships and expanding existing ones, capitalizing on the breadth of FIS by leveraging assets, capabilities and distribution in new ways. One of his key responsibilities is to oversee and drive the commercial partnership between FIS and Worldpay to further define and accelerate the commercial opportunities between the two companies. Jim is a member of the FIS Executive Leadership team and a key contributor to the strategy and corporate development activities of the company.
Prior to being named the president of Strategic Partnerships, Jim was the president of the Worldpay segment of FIS, where he focused on fueling the potential of every business around the world by enabling smarter commerce. Before that, Jim served as the executive vice president of Payments at FIS, helping the business achieve its highest growth rate in the division’s history.
Jim currently serves on the Board of Directors of Electronic Transactions Association (ETA) and the Jacksonville Symphony. He holds an MBA from Marquette University and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan.
Nasser Khodri
President, Capital Markets Solutions
Nasser Khodri is the president of the Capital Markets segment at FIS. In this role, Nasser is responsible for driving growth by developing and delivering innovative, client-centric platforms for asset managers, corporates, insurance firms, lenders, investment banks, custodians, and trading and clearing firms.
Nasser is passionate about innovating with customers and partners to democratize and scale digital experiences across the financial industry. Over the past 20 years, he has held a variety of global and international leadership positions in the financial technology industry.
In 2015, Nasser joined FIS through the acquisition of SunGard. Most recently, he was the executive vice president of the Capital Markets Sell Side division at FIS. He led the transformation to the cloud infrastructure and the adoption of advanced technology accelerating growth across the sell side business. Prior to this, Nasser served as the head of Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa leading the international expansion across FIS for its Banking, Payments and Capital Markets businesses.
Originally from France, Nasser holds a master’s degree from École Nationale Supérieure d’Arts et Métiers, Paris. His journey in the financial technology industry has taken him across continents spanning Europe, Asia and most recently to New York, where he now lives with his wife, daughter and son.
James Kehoe
Chief Financial Officer
James Kehoe is the chief financial officer (CFO) at FIS and is responsible for enterprise-wide oversight of all aspects of FIS’ financial operations, including controllership, treasury, investor relations, financial planning and analysis, and corporate development functions, in addition to FIS’ capital allocation strategy.
James Kehoe most recently served as executive vice president and global chief financial officer of Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. He joined the company in June 2018 from Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited., where he served as CFO since June 2016 and as director since June 2017. He joined Takeda Pharmaceutical from Kraft Foods Group in the U.S., where he held the role as executive vice president and CFO. Prior to that, he had a number of finance-related positions over 25 years with assignments based in Ireland, Germany, Italy, U.S., Austria, Switzerland and Canada.
James has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Galway and a Master of Business Studies from University College Dublin.
George Mihalos
SVP, Head of Investor Relations
George Mihalos is head of Investor Relations at FIS, where he is responsible for liaising with investors regarding FIS’ financial prospects and strategic positioning.
George has more than 20 years of expertise in the financial services industry as a sell-side equity research analyst with a focus on financial technology and business services. He joined FIS in 2022 from Cowen & Co., where he was a managing director leading the firm’s equity research efforts in the financial technology sector. Prior to joining Cowen in 2015, George held similar research roles at Credit Suisse, Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Bear Stearns.
George holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Hofstra University.
Rafic Naja
Chief Strategy Officer
Dr. Rafic Naja is the chief strategy officer of FIS. In this role, he is responsible for shaping the company’s corporate strategy and mergers and acquisitions.
Rafic’s prior experience spans strategy and finance leadership roles in global organizations, including heading Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) for Worldpay in Cincinnati, Ohio; FP&A and Corporate Strategy for Owens Corning in Toledo, Ohio; Corporate Portfolio Management and Finance Analytics for Cisco Systems in San Jose, California; and Strategy and Business Development for Pall Corporation in Port Washington, New York. Rafic’s prior experience also includes significant strategy and corporate finance consulting roles with McKinsey & Company in Boston, Massachusetts and Washington, D.C.
Rafic has an undergraduate degree in economics from Georgetown University, where he graduated summa cum laude, and he earned a Ph.D. in economics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Ellyn Raftery is chief marketing and communications officer of FIS. In this role, Ellyn is charged with leading the strategic planning and execution of FIS’ Global Marketing and Corporate Communications programs as well as enterprise commercialization.
Prior to joining FIS in 2012, she was the chief marketing officer and senior vice president of Global Marketing for CA Technologies, a global enterprise information technology software and service company where she drove the development, planning and implementation of the corporate brand and marketing strategy and guided the company’s thought leadership, integrated go-to-market programs and demand generation programs globally. She also led the enterprisewide global voice-of-the-customer experience initiative to drive competitive improvement and increased customer satisfaction.
For nearly a decade prior, Ellyn held multiple executive-level positions for Unisys Corporation, including chief marketing and communications officer; vice president, Worldwide Marketing and Communications; and vice president, Worldwide Marketing for Systems Integration and Consulting. While at Unisys, Ellyn managed a global staff and was responsible for corporate brand and marketing strategy, market and competitive research, solutions marketing, field marketing, marketing services, analyst relations, social and media relations, and corporate communications. Prior to Unisys, Ellyn led marketing strategy and research for Ernst & Young, LLP.
Highly active in the community, Ellyn is the past chairman of the board of the Northern & Central Florida Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). She is also a frequent contributor to the United Way, Jacksonville’s Cathedral Arts program and the American Red Cross. In addition, she is an alumni member of Leadership Jacksonville, an organization that works to create community trustees by developing leaders to assume greater responsibility for the Jacksonville area. Her professional affiliations and certifications include the American Marketing Association, Executive Conference Board, Information Technology Services Marketing Association, and Corporate Executive Board’s Marketing and Communications Leadership Councils. She is also a member of the Wall Street Journal’s CMO Network.
As a role model for empowering and inspiring women in fintech, Ellyn was named to the Top 100 Women in Tech as part of the 2021 Tech Inclusion Conference. Ellyn was also named Marketing Executive of the Year at the 2020 American Business Awards, recognizing her leadership in rebuilding our brand in just 40 days after FIS’ combination with Worldpay. Ellyn was also honored as one of Jacksonville’s Women of Influence in recognition of her achievements and involvement in the Northeast Florida community.

Caroline Tsai
Chief Legal & Corporate Affairs Officer and Corporate Secretary
Caroline Tsai is chief legal & corporate affairs officer and corporate secretary at FIS. Caroline oversees FIS’ global legal, compliance and corporate secretarial functions. She also leads the corporate affairs function, including environmental, social and governance (ESG), public policy and government affairs.
Caroline joined FIS in 2022 and most recently served as chief legal officer and corporate secretary of The Western Union Company. In this role, she led the company’s newly consolidated legal, compliance and enterprise risk functions as well as helped steer the company through the implementation of its new global strategy and digital growth initiatives, including its global migration to the cloud. Prior to joining Western Union in 2017, she spent more than 12 years in numerous executive-level legal roles at BMO Financial Group and Bank of America Corporation supporting retail banking, commercial banking and capital markets verticals and leading and executing legal, compliance, public policy advocacy and bank regulatory strategies that delivered results and aligned with desired and impactful business outcomes.
Caroline earned a Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude from the American University Washington College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree, with distinction from the University of Michigan.
Denise Williams leads FIS' global people function. A seasoned human resources executive with more than extensive experience, she works with the executive team to drive the company's people agenda.
Prior to joining FIS in 2016, Denise spent 15 years leading global human resources teams at IBM. Before IBM, Denise held human resources roles at Alliance Bernstein, First Data, Avis and Coopers & Lybrand.
In 2023, Denise joined the Alight, Inc., Board of Directors.
In recognition of her professional achievements, Denise was named a 2022 HRO Today Superstar, a Top Innovator in HR 2021 by Business Insider Magazine and HRO Today’s 2021 CHRO of the Year, Lifetime Achievement winner. Denise also recently penned the foreword of Chris Shipley’s and Heather McGowen’s new book, “The Empathy Advantage.”
Denise earned her bachelor's degree from SUNY Albany and is a member of organizations including the Human Resources Policy Association, the Center on Executive Compensation and World 50 for CHROs.
Bob Toohey
Executive Vice President, Incoming Chief People Officer
Bob Toohey leads FIS' global people function, overseeing its people strategy, including employee talent acquisition, growth and development, total rewards, business advisory, and other programs to drive our culture and a best-in-class colleague experience while ensuring FIS attracts, retains, and cultivates a diverse workforce to enable future success.
Before joining FIS in Sept. 2024, Bob served as Allstate’s Chief Human Resources Officer, where he focused on transforming the culture, the work, the workplace, and the technology that keeps employees connected, advancing Allstate’s customer-led strategy. Prior to that, Bob held business roles like chief operating officer and president at plymetrics, Verizon Media and Verizon Business.
A talent champion, Bob’s known for his ability to optimize and develop people the way people work to drive business results. He has over 30 years or global experience and deep expertise in growing talent, business and digital transformation, building startups, launching new business entities, restructuring organizations, and driving M&A and business integrations.
Bob has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Atlantic Health, as a member of the Advisory Board for DocuSign, as a member of the Board of Visitors of Northeastern University's College of Business Administration, and on the Advisory Council for Villanova's School of Business Center for Global Leadership.
He graduated from Northeastern University with a B.S. in Finance and attended Yale School of Management, Executive Education - Chief Executive Leadership Institute.

Mr. Adrean served as Corporate Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Equifax, Inc. from 2006 to 2014. Prior to joining Equifax, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at NDC Health Corporation from 2004 to 2006, and as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at EarthLink, Inc. from 2000 to 2004. Prior to EarthLink, Inc., he worked at several other public companies in the transaction processing and financial services industries, and served as a strategy consultant at Bain & Company for over a decade. He previously served on the Board of FIS from July 2019 to May 2021, serving as a member of the Audit Committee and the Risk and Technology Committee. He also served on the Board of Worldpay, Inc., formerly Vantiv, Inc., from 2012 until its acquisition by FIS in July 2019. He also previously served on the Board of Directors of West Corporation, Serta Simmons Bedding and The Honey Baked Ham Company. Mr. Adrean holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Bucknell University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Nicole Anasenes
Director
Ms. Anasenes currently serves on the board of directors of Motorola Solutions, Inc., a multinational telecommunications company. She previously served as chief financial officer of ANSYS, Squarespace and Infor. Prior to joining Infor, she held various leadership positions at IBM. She served on the boards of ANSYS from July 2018 until December 2020 and VMware, Inc. from April 2022 to November 2023. Ms. Anasenes received a bachelor’s degree in economics and international business from New York University, as well as an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Benjamin is the former Chief Executive Officer of Nuance Communications. Prior to joining Nuance, Mark served as President and Chief Operating Officer of NCR Corporation, where he oversaw sales, solutions management, business and product development, services and supply chain operations. Before that, he spent more than 20 years holding various leadership appointments at ADP, including President of Global Enterprise Solutions, where he led a team of 20,000 employees and managed a multi billion dollar portfolio across more than 100 countries. Mr. Benjamin is a director of PTC Inc., a software company. Mr. Benjamin holds a bachelor’s degree in International Finance and Marketing from the University of Miami.

Mr. Goldstein is a Senior Advisor to Canapi Ventures, a venture capital firm, and Advisor Emeritus at Hellman & Friedman LLC, a private equity firm. He was the Chief Executive Officer of SpringHarbor Financial Group LLC from December 2016 through 2018. Mr. Goldstein was a Managing Director at Hellman & Friedman from 2004 to 2009 and from 2011 to 2016 and a Senior Advisor from 2016 to 2019. He was Under Secretary of the Treasury for Domestic Finance and Counselor to the Secretary of the Treasury from 2009 to 2011. In 1999, Mr. Goldstein became a managing director of the World Bank and he also served as Chief Financial Officer beginning in 2003. Since 2014 Mr. Goldstein has been a Board member of Bank of New York Mellon.
Kourtney Gibson
Director
Ms. Gibson currently serves as chief executive officer, Retirement Solutions at TIAA, a leading provider of secure retirements and outcome-focused investment solutions. Prior to her tenure at TIAA, Ms. Gibson contributed significantly to the growth and expansion of Loop Capital, one of the largest privately held investment banking, brokerage and advisory firms headquartered in the U.S., ultimately serving as its executive vice chairman after previously serving as president. Her career at Loop Capital, which spanned more than two decades, was marked by strategic leadership where she spearheaded initiatives to deepen client relations and deliver an array of comprehensive solutions across more than 80 countries. She currently serves on the board of MarketAxess Holdings Inc. and previously served on the board of Lululemon Athletica Inc. Ms. Gibson earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Miami as well as an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Ms. Hook served as President and Chief Executive Officer of NeuStar, Inc., an information services and data analytics provider, from October 2010 to July 2018, and as a director from November 2010 to July 2019. Prior to joining NeuStar, Ms. Hook served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Sunrocket, Inc., a voice over IP service provider, from 2006 to 2007. From 2001 to 2004, she held several executive-level posts at America Online, Inc., a web services company. Ms. Hook also served in executive and special advisory roles at Time Warner, Inc., was legal adviser to the Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission, and was a senior attorney at Viacom International, Inc. Ms. Hook is a director of Philip Morris International Inc. and Nokia Corporation. Ms. Hook previously served as a director of Unisys, Inc, Partners Group Holding AG, Ping Identity Holdings, Inc. and RB Global, Inc. and as Senior Independent Director of RELX PLC and RELX NV. Ms. Hook previously served on the Board of Worldpay, Inc. from 2015 until the acquisition by FIS on July 31, 2019.

Mr. Lauer serves as Executive Director and a co-founder of the Eminent Series Group, a position he has held since July 2017. Mr. Lauer serves as an associate consultant of Bain and Company. Prior to this position, he served as Chief Executive Officer of eHealth, Inc., and Chairman of eHealth’s Board of Directors, both positions he held from December 1999 to May 2016. Prior to joining eHealth, Mr. Lauer was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of MetaCreations Corporation from 1998 to December 1999. Prior to joining MetaCreations, Mr. Lauer was part of the senior executive team that helped build Silicon Graphics, Inc. into a leading computing manufacturer. Mr. Lauer began his career at IBM. Mr. Lauer previously served on the Board of Worldpay, Inc. from 2012 until the acquisition by FIS on July 31, 2019.

Since 2013, Mr. Stallings has been the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner of PS27 Ventures, LLC, a private investment fund focused on technology companies. He has been directly involved in starting dozens of new ventures in FinTech, HealthTech, and SaaS. From 2009 until his retirement in January 2013, Mr. Stallings served as General Manager of Global Markets in IBM’s Systems and Technology Group. From 2002 to 2009 and from 1984 to 1996, Mr. Stallings served in a variety of roles at IBM Corporation, including General Manager, Enterprise Systems, IBM Systems and Technology Group. From 2000 to 2002, Mr. Stallings founded and ran E House, a consumer technology company. Mr. Stallings is currently a director of UGI Corporation and Cannae Holdings, Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Naval Academy and served as a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps. Mr. Stallings serves as a Trustee of the Folded Flag Foundation which provides scholarships to descendants of fallen warriors in the U.S. Military.
